Cut? Hmm. Maybe that should be the place for our next GTG . . . .

Also recommend the Peninsula hotel. Service is 1000% there!

The Peninsula Hotel has an excellent reputation. I'm sure it's great. Only ten blocks from The Beverly Grill.

I've never been to Fogo or Cut. We'll have to put this on the agenda for discussion on Nov. 5. See if we can find out what the spendy limit of the group is. For example, dinner at Cut is about a month's rent for me (but that doesn't mean I'm out).

CUT is on a different level when it comes to taste and price. The steaks are far above any of the other big popular steakhouses in LA, IMHO.

Mastro's and Wolfgang's are out there, too, but Cut is supposed to be a take-no-prisoners steak place. |

Hey - Fogo is $35 for lunch on Sunday. All you can eat. For the price, the quality and service is excellent! Even their full price dinner (~$65) is a good value.

When we have lunch, you guys can give us recommendations for supper in Beverly Hills. We tend to eat high quality seafood like seared tuna, grilled swordfish, etc.

Heard about your GTG from scombs263. Sounds like a good time. Will try to make it up from the OC!

Well, the thing about the South Beverly Grill is, there is something on the menu for all budgets, they take very good care of us, and there are a lot of watch boutiques within walking distance.

Look forward to meeting you. I am bringing my wife. I hope others bring a guest. She doesn't want to be the only female there. Which was the case in our Virginia GTG.

I am happy to announce that we will have another one of our famous raffles. A member of the forum, who shall be thanked in due time, has generously offered, for the second year in a row, to contribute some tasty Rolex swag as raffle prizes. Some of you will recall that 1) we gave away a few really nice items last year; and 2) we enjoyed the generosity of so many TRFers that every single person in the raffle walked away with a prize. Not too shabby, eh?
It's official, then. If you are in SoCal, you'd be crazy to miss the BH GTG. |

Got my haircut yesterday. We are psyched about this GTG and our first chance to do a Rodeo Drive crawl. We still don't know where we will eat dinner. Haven't found many seafood restaurants in the area (on the internet).

Mastros has an incredible seafood tower as a starter. And then get perfection with their bone-in filet. And make sure to get the gnocchi as one of the sides. Finally, don't fill up too much because the butter cake is arguably the best dessert you ever will eat. And, if you go to Mastros, sit upstairs. It's a more lively atmosphere. Hope to meet you at the GTG on Saturday. I'm 80% in.
