Look, its understandable. The Apple gadget is young, fresh, new. And sure, it will do things for you that your staid, dowdy Rolex won't. Just know that these devices are very high maintenance, with the charging and software refreshes.

You know as well as I that as soon as there is an Apple2 watch, this one will no longer be the youngest, prettiest toy. You are a grown man, you are going to lose interest in this toy, which only ever wanted your money in the first place.

You made a (financial) commitment to your Rolex; you need to do what's right and honor that commitment. Your sub is built to last, you can take it in the shower, sauna or ocean; she can take the dents and dings like a champ and remain a faithful timepiece. Does your pretty little princess Apple watch have the app for these things?

Enough is enough, you need to go home to your first and true love and end this frivolous affair.

I tried double-wristing for a time. It didn't work out.

I still get a buzz when I wear it and I'm sure that the novelty of the Apple Watch will no doubt wear off as most have posted.

Who needs weather alerts anyway as it's always raining in Yorkshire England

I've lost count how many times I've sold a car only to regret doing so just because I fancied a change.

Thanks to the majority of you who have given sound advice it's really appreciated. Not so much thanks to the ones who called me a troll .

Wise decision

No problem I've been called far worse😀

Just discovered that when going outside just now my sub does have a weather function. Wet crystal means it's raining ☔️ .

This! I was gifted an Apple Watch as a present last year and couldn't take it off my wrist. Then the novelty wore off. A little. I now rotate them

i think its a fad; you'll come back to the tried, tested, and true eventually.

not saying they're not useful, but the eventuality of upgrades and systems issues you may face in the future will drive you back to the crown
