So we have
Milgauss - pops, out there more interesting, potential collector (down or way down the road) upscale
Explorer - not much in the way of discussion as to the "why" as some first pics, however, take away is - solid versatile choice, classy
Air King - Value proposition to the similar spec Milgauss, pops a bit with the splash of colour, but really lags in the votes.

I am so close to calling my AD for the Milgauss, I love the Explorer too for its simplicity and LUME, but just don't know will it continue to inspire me down the road or is it the type of watch where its simplicity grows on you?

Any more insight in the rankings of these three?? keep it coming please!!
I've had the Z-Blue Milgauss for a little over 6 months and still wear it more than any of my other watches (Tudor Black Bay, and Omega Speedmaster)

Gorgeous piece and the blue always changes colors depending on how you look at it. It really pops but it's still low key and doesn't scream Rolex when you walk into a room. I've worn it in formal settings and in a bathing suit.

"Air King," he said through a veil of alcohol and what passed for common sense.

I ended up buying both and love them both. I wear the Explorer as my daily though as its so versatile but the Milgauss dial is just stunning.

There's not much that can change for the Exp over the coming years but the current AK and the Z Blue will surely be discontinued at some point. So if you like the AK/Z Blue buy one now and can always get an Exp later!

I tried an AK at my local AD and was surprised how good it looked,I've always been a Sports watch guy but when I decide to get something dressier this will be on my list , the Explorer is also nice an has a better clasp, Don't like the Milgauss personally.

ZBlue is striking and pairs well to any other Rolex especially the Daytona.

I might be a little biased since I own a Milgauss so I would tell you to go with the Z blue in a heartbeat.

However, if I had to choose between the Explorer or Air King I would go with the Explorer.

I went with the Zblue. But would also go for the newer Explorer with longer hands.

I have the black dial (plain crystal) Milgauss, and I had thought about trading it in for the Z dial...but I just couldn't bring myself to do it. So I bought the Z as well. Due in Monday.

Something about the quirkiness, the bolt, the superclean dial just hits me the right way every time I look at it.

Agree with those who said it is great as an addition to the collection. I don't think I'd want to wear it as my everyday.

I prefer the Air King dial and the Explorer lume; for me the Milgauss is a distant third.

Given the only choice among Milgauss releases, Z Blue has to be it. Something different about the dial and the crystal.
