I love all of those watches, so I think you're just going to have to figure out is one watch worth two.
The only thing I would be hesitant about is flipping a discontinued model, especially as hot as one as the GMT right now. |

I love the look of the SD vs the "traditional" Rolex look. Been looking at the rose gold version for a while now but it's way too much.

It took me three days after the release to go to an AD and order one; this is totally out of character for me as I've never bought a Rolex through and AD. I was their first to order one, fwiw. I was afraid there would be a waiting list; there wasn't but there may be one now. I've been lusting after them since they first were intro'd but no way would I pay the PM prices. Stainless pricing though high for an SS model just seems like such a bargain in comparison. Go for it and settle down for the wait. I tried one on my skinny 6.5in wrist and it was marginal. I do wear my DJII so I'm taking the 1mm leap.

I am not a fan of the SD mainly because of the typically white inset hour dial that contrasts against the dial color. BUT, IN THIS CASE the insert wheel and dials are the same blue so it looks great. I love it.

The SS Sky Dweller doesn't contain roman numerals which is my favorite part about the watch, it def. gives the watch a new look. Also, the SS version isn't that expensive as I was battling between this and the yachtmaster but I ended up with YM. Personally, the SS adds great diversity to Rolex.
