The thrill of the chase and the negotiation is a great part of buying anything. I have friends who always cringe when I try to negotiate. They just pay the MRSP on anything.

If I want something my first question is "what's your best price on that", I find it works better than "I want discount" and isn't as offensive to some people.

Well done sir, on the piece and bidding your time to get the right deal.

Congrats! Thats a great deal within the US and hard to beat here!

You can definitely do better in certain countries but its only possible if you are traveling there to begin with. I bought my first BLNR for $7200-$7300 in Italy and my second for $7800 in Switzerland.

Nicely done! Actual savings aside, the whole AD experience at a grey market price or better price is doubly cool.

Superb! A fantastic watch at any price, but $8k from the AD is a steal.
