I haven't but I feel I will at some point going from my YM to a ND Sub. It's as easy as remembering the date or looking at her phone.

Zero problems. I thought it would bug me but it doesn't at all. Took me a couple of days to stop looking at my watch for the date, but now I don't miss it at all. I can always use the bezel to track the date, but I find when I need to know the date I'm always at my computer anyway.

Never had an issue with my Explorer 1. I use the date on a watch as a "crutch" to confirm what I already know.

I guess I am drawn to watches without dates. My GMT2 is the token date model and I never set the date on it. When I need to know the date I use my phone.

Really? No date on a watch is a big deal to some here?
Maybe I'm in the minority. I work five to six days a week and enjoy it. Like any modern human I am surrounded by technology that show time, day and date. They are everywhere. Not only that, but before I go to sleep I review in my mind when I need to be up and what date it is the next day and my schedule. I use something we are all born with. Brains. . . Memory. All you have to do is expend some mental energy. On most days when I get to sleep with 8 hours before I need to get up I wake up 10 to 20 minutes before the alarm goes off on my phone. Maybe it's the Navy training when I was 17. |

I recently went from a watch with the date (Navitimer) to a ND SubC. The first few days I found myself looking down to see what day it is. What I actually realized is when I had my date watch I relied on it quite a bit and wouldn't really keep track of the specific date because the watch did it for me. Now that I have the ND SubC it turns out I'm actually better at knowing what the date is off the top of my head because I'm not relying on my watch...it's also nice with traveling since it is much easier to change the time quickly.
