I think it is a beautiful watch and had the chance to buy one from my AD a couple of months ago, however I turned it down because I felt it was just too big. I definitely appreciate it's beauty though. If you feel you can rock it, get it. I have the same concern regarding the wife every time I buy a new watch. I am too scared to show her the new Air King I bought, hehehe!!!

If I try on an SD43 and don't love it, I may very well go take a second look at the DSSD Blue
Completely agree with you. That dial on a watch with the same sized proportions as the SD43 would be the ultimate dive watch and I would've bitten off my AD's hand for it.

I loved that watch... just a bummer for me having small wrists...
Funny because I had the black DSSD and should have known better,
but it was too beautiful to pass up at the time!
SD43 seems to be about the Limit of size as far as Rolex goes for my wrists.
DSSD/Skydwellers too big.

This highlights the availability of this watch. It seems in some parts of the world they feel this is a super rare piece. If the dealer is willing to hold it for you with the deposit it obviously isn't flying off the shelves. Nice watch, I just don't get the premium versus the regular black dial version for a different dial.
Black dial can be found at Big discount

Really like the dial but couldn't accept the lime green "Deepsea", so went with the regular black dial instead.

Think there is a big difference between the blue and black
Dont see too many james camerons about plus the dial is amazing a bit different in the rolex line up would say its worth paying a bit more than the deepsea .
