Where do grey market watches come from?

Exactly from the same factory as all genuine Rolex come from except some are re-routed from varius ADs several times before sold and seeing this thread is 3 years old its now closed.

The comment about gray dealers buying from less affluent areas might well be accurate as mine came from such a place. Having said that why would an AD be in such a place unless they had big relationships with gray dealers or maybe people will come from far and wide to buy their Rolexes.
