Looks big. Too big for my taste, but if you like the big watch look then it's passable. It's not grossly oversized for you, but a Sub/GMT would look better I think.
Then again I have the wrist/arm size to easily pull of this size watch and still wouldn't go that big for myself. Prefer 40mm. |

This is a very good point. When people are taking photos 6in away, it looks entirely different than how everybody else sees the watch at 2-3feet away. |

Does my SD43 look too big on me?
It's all about the wrist presence you want. It's big on your wrist, but nobody but you can say if it's too big or not. Here's a shot of my 40mm GMT2 on my 7 3/4" wrist. Too small? The only opinion that matters is mine, and I say it's fine.
Hers my 44.25mm Omega Speedmaster on that same wrist. Lots of wrist presence, but too much? Nay nay I say!

Ask a trusted friend or two what they think?
Maybe push it up your wrist a bit as well, but a beautiful watch that you should probably grab and try to love |

Looks just barely too big, but not too big that I think anyone would really notice. Just depends how you feel about it.
For me personally, spending that kind of money, I think I'd want it to fit better, but if it were a Pelagos or something that fit similarly, I would gladly buy it and wear it. Not sure if that makes a ton of sense, but just how I look at it. |

It definitely looks big in that photo, I wouldn't wear it if that was my wrist, but your opinion is all that matters here. An extra 3mm doesnt matter if your wrist is big enough, if it's borderline, then it absolutely matters.
Keep it, flip it for a quick profit, whatever floats your boat.

It doesn,t look too big because it is a BIG watch, it is made to have a large presence on the wrist

Based on the picture yes it is a little too big on your wrist. typically the lugs should not extend out to the edges of your wrist on either ends. But that's a matter of personal choice to the individual.
If you are asking the questions means you already came to this conclusion but looking for validation from the forum. I'm like you, not sure what size your wrist is but mine is 6.75 and the SubC is just perfect. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro

People with fat wrists are basically fat people. So hit McDonald's for a few months and you'll soon "pull it off", assuming you don't have an MI. |

It looks too big to me, but as others have said, all that matters is that you like it and you think that it looks good on you

Slamming massive doses of HGH might increase your wrist size, but that's about it - besides getting fat. |

All that matters is how you feel about it and whether you think your SD suits your personal taste and style or not.
But like the others have said, since you asked, at least for me personally it looks too big, but that is because I am *personally* just not a fan of any watch over 40mm, especially on smaller wrists. |

Frankly yes, meant to be worn over a diving suit.

There's nothing about this watch that's designed for actual serious use. That ship sailed long ago, and this update sunk it - in case there was still any question.
It's a cool watch with some cool features, designed for rich guys to wear. Just like most modern luxury watches. |

Yes, it seems to overwhelm your wrist. A Sub would look better, especially a five-digit model.

Unless you're an old dude type, IT LOOKS FINE.
Wear it for a few weeks and then put on a regular Sub and you'll feel like you're borrowing your girlfriend's watch. Even on my 6 1/4 wrist the 44mm YM II looks perfect and as much as I like Subs they feel small now. 40mm = old man's frail wrist size. |

Absolutely too large. Flip it and get something better suited to you.
