Still waiting for a side-by-side of this:
- A recently polished watch
- An unpolished watch

Then we'll see if it's just the lighting or the camera. I'm pretty sure there will be an obvious difference.

Or, pics of the OP's watch with a different camera or different lighting.

At this point I'd only settle for a real polish job from Rolex or none at all.

When Vanessa serviced my father’s watch last year, she told me someone else polished it. I’m speaking from personal experience, not hearsay

OK Peeps, I drove down to Newport Beach yesterday and had a great visit with Kenny & Vanessa who handed me my refurbished "Triple Red" 16622. WOW is an accurate word to describe the overall first impression. Looked brand new as opposed to a 14 year old Rollie. The red date-wheel makes all the difference, imo.

As promised, here are a few pics taken with my iPhone 7. For the record, the previous pics were QC pics taken by Kenny. The polish on the bracelet looks OEM and fantastic to me, so no complaints from this guy as to being over-polished, etc.

Would definitely recommend Vanessa to service any of your high-end pieces!!

Cheers my Peeps!!

Maarten

Rolex DateJust Turn-O-Graph comes standard with red-date wheel. Bro, I can't tell you how much for the date-wheel since it was a trade off with a friend who sourced it from an AD in Hong Kong, sorry!!

Sacrilege! Disgrace! Witchcraft! You're not worthy of the Order of the Yacht-Master and your will burn in Heck.

Looks quite nice, actually. Makes sense to make it pop a little bit more.

I'm not into modding though so I'll never molest my pride and joy. My main concern would be what if I get tired of the modd? I'd have to take it back for a swap again. Hassle. I stick to straps only when it comes to modding.

But you are a brave man and deserve all the credit for it. Now go and enjoy your shimmering star spangled super red for the millenia to come!

My bland, dull, plain and boring 116622 Yachtty says hi. Gosh knows I love it for the rest of my life on planet Gaia.

Hey Mate, guilty as charged!! Zero chance of going back to black date wheel!! Awesome 116622 Bro, wished the clasp would fit on the 16622!!
