That watch is it beautiful watch and it does a lot of things but flying under the radar ain’t one of them.

Have been hearing grey resellers saying WG will always take a hit but nevertheless some peeps prefer a lower profile

I love my BLRO, I love that most people don't take a second look. And I love that those who do know what it is, are WIS and generally appreciate it for what it is. An amazing Rolex, made from a special material and with a unique heritage.

I feel lucky every time I put it on.

I personally love the WG look and feel without the flash of YG. I'm my case, the nickel in the SS give me a rash so WG is a must for me.

How is a red and blue bezel out of the ordinary timepiece more low key than something like a simple black dial Submariner?

Enjoy your Pepsi -

The Rolex design team for the BLRO must have had a wry sense of humor. They take the iconic Pepsi GMT Master and remake it in a new version that “flies under the radar”.

The original is called the Pepsi GMT; this one is the “Stealth Pepsi GMT” methinks.

If you need to scream “look what I can afford” by sporting Yellow Gold everywhere, then this ain’t your model. (By the way, I’m not besmirching those of us who like YG for its own color). I had a YG DD on alligator and a Platona. Both had a subdued presence.

On the other hand, perhaps the OP’s friend has an affirmation deficit that needs stoking by other people admiring his conspicuous consumption.

That's exactly the reason why I love watches like the BLRO, Smurf, Aquanauts and even the Nautilus, for those who have no clue they are just "simple" watches.

Lovely BLRO

I agree with that, as it makes complete sense. However, it was his statement of "If there is such a thing as flying under the radar while rocking a Rolex" had me scratching my head.

Love it, personally not in the PM metal space yet but have tried it on. Absolutely love the weight. When I switched back to my BLNR it felt like a toy watch.

Just saw the BLRO in person today at a grey market dealer. It looked EXACTLY like stainless. The price difference to the regular ss is crazy! My opinion
