Great watch but in some conservative business environments it may signal too much of a sporty Tom Selleck Magnum guy.

Some Get Noticed.

My TT Sub DID get noticed at work, but this 16710 on my wrist today does not. I also prefer an All Stainless watch for work anyway (from a durability standpoint), so that is what works for me.

Would you wear a Rolex Pepsi GMT as a daily work watch ? (Office environment )

I've been wearing my 16710 w/ a faded Pepsi insert to the office almost daily for a few months. Business casual attire. No one notices it, honestly.

I think folks in my office see the faded bezel and think "What a crummy old thing... He should upgrade to an Apple Watch!"

Misplaced worry, the vast majority of folks won't notice or care. Just wear the damn thing, way too many other really important things to worry over.

I rotate between a BLNR, and several other watches (but mostly the BLNR as I am on international project teams and have meetings all the time with multiple time zones). NO issues and no one notices... Not even those that have a Rolex on.

I don’t have a GMT but if I did I’d wear it to the office without any reservation what so ever.

I wear a suit to my office which is usually moving along at .78 Mach. I don’t think there’s any better place to wear it than in the office.

Only if the wearer grows a bushy moustache and wears really tight shorts.

I work in finance. Been in the industry for 19 years now. Typical clothing is black khaki's, Polo-Golf T-shirt, and black Doc Martin shoes.

I've worn a BLNR, a DSSD, 2 SD's, and a YM2 SS in this environment on a daily basis.

Not sure I see the purpose of this thread.

If there's consequences for wearing a certain brand of watch then you work for the wrong people.

I remember you in that James Bond movie Goldfinger?

Cool movie.

But I think an Apple Watch is the very best choice for work?

Yes. Of course wear it to work. You’re in an office not an oil rig. I agree with many others - most others won’t even notice or care.

I wear a BLNR as my daily to work. I work in a very causal tech environment. The nice thing about the GMTs is that they play nicely dressed up or dressed down.

Btw my work is in an office environment but does not require me to wear a suit.
Sure, why not? You can’t admire and enjoy it if you don’t wear it.

My job is general management which usually entails business casual and sometimes a suit. I would wear it.

Wear it, the only person who noticed mine and knew what it was my CFO. Have gotten many compliments over the years but they had no idea it was a Rolex.

This.

I’ve worn my BLNR around my employees before and they either don’t notice or don’t care. Which is perfect for me.

Do what you enjoy and don't worry what other people think
