Some good feedback here I’m really surprised PM Daytona owners don’t wear their watches with suits. I have to agree that the Oyster bracelet works better with a suit than an Oysterflex but it think it doesn’t look as awkward as people think. I’ve worn my D Blue with a suit and have never had an issue.

I’m not a fan of the rubber strap with a suit. But like others said, you can wear whatever - I just wouldn’t do it. Need a DJ or DD :-)

Do whatever you like mate. If you believe you can rock it, you can rock it. Besides, most people won’t notice or care.
I love the oysterflex strap on the Ceramic Daytonas and would happily wear one with a suit. I plan to buy a YG version next year. Having said that, something looks a bit off with your BLNR on the oysterflex bracelet. The matte black rubber appears to take something away from the blue/black ceramic. It might just be me though. Anyway, going back to the old adage, do what you want and ignore what others think. |

Not really. At least they're black and this isn't an AP Offshore funky green or orange with a suit thread.

I love rubber straps on certain references, just not the BLNR so much.

In this day and age you can get away with any watch and strap combo you want. Only WIS will (a) notice or (b) care. If you find a WIS and they notice AND care, then you have an immediate talking point anyway.
Bear in mind more common male wrist adornments are fitbits, Garmins or apple smart watches which all come on rubber anyway so this conundrum is waaaay beyond the concerns of the hoi polloi |

Daytona a sports watch and I would wear it with a suit, my ad wears his to work every in a suit. As for a oysterflex on a SubC Yes bc it's a dive watch, GMT NO away in my opinion

I think the op was referring to a formal attire sort of suit and not a diving suit.

I agree with the others. Has to be a PM model for it to work.

You know what looks good with a suit? Confidence. Stop caring what random people on an internet forum think and do WHAT YOU WANT! :)

Your opinion is the only one that counts. Wear the damn thing and don't worry. The vast majority of folks won't notice or care.
