I’d keep the 5 digit. If you sold and got the admittedly lovely Pepsi you’d have 4 ceramic watches that look very similar.
I prefer the 5 anyway. |

Old Pepsi, and it’s not even close. I would take a hard pass on the pastel colors and added bling factor. |

I sometimes feel 90% of the people here shouldn't even be buying their first Rolex. If you don't have 8K disposable income wtf are you doing with a 7K watch on your wrist already.

i like how the new Pepsi's red insert is nearly the same shade of maroon on the 16710's coke insert.
so basically the use of ceramic caused rolex to kinda combine soda flavors :) when the 6 digit white gold pepsi was introduced , hodinkee mentioned rolex did this as a homage to the 1950s bakelite bezel. ha. |

OP — what did you decide? It may be the honeymoon period with my 114060, but I find myself thinking the same — parting with my A-Serial 16710 BLRO that I’ve had for 15 years to make room for a 126710.

I’d be fitting a coke bezel to that 16710 and keeping it in rotation.

The 5 digits are lovely but he 6 digits are in a whole different league. I can't go back.

on my 16710 rotation. Just switched pepsi on jubilee for coke on oyster. Haven't seen this one since february. So, it's like a new watch I would like to add the new pepsi, but never at the cost of giving up the 16710.

My 16710 get the most wrist time. I would find a way to finance the new BRLO for sure

Keep the 5 digit. No way I would sell that, even for a BLRO.

Do not sell your old Pepsi! I just tried on the new Pepsi....feels weird. I had always wanted to get it and was on waitlist until I manage to try the real thing at a grey dealer and almost instantaneously I decided the new Pepsi is not worth its price tag (grey dealer pricing now)

Looking past the movement upgrade and jubilee only option what you have is another GMTIIC. An over hyped one at that. People are recommending the one that hasn't been made for ten years and were made in their millions. Says a lot for the new one.

I would keep the 5 digit....better all around designed watch.
The 6 digit bezel is the biggest problem....it is too cramped regarding the font, the color variations don’t look right...the ceramic color is shiny with no depth and tacky compared to the luminosity and depth of the aluminum bezel. You can see this right away when compared side by side. On the other hand if you just want a new Pepsi with improved technicals, and the throwback look of the 5 digit Pepsi then go for the new. |
