Some things are just plain wrong. Please do not put your platona on a strap LOL.

Hi, first of all I’m not normally a fan of the WG Daytona but that strap really brings it out, wow! how did you get a leather strap for oysterflex Daytona? Is it something AD can do?

I really liked me YG oysterflex but started to find the rubber strap a bit... not to my tastes... so flipped the watch. But would buy another if I could get it on a leather strap from AD.

Yes! OEM rolex gator, recently redesigned for exactly this reason. I’m not 100% sure which watch it technically “belongs” to (my guess is the 116515), but if you have a decent relationship with your AD, or if they just want to make the sale on a gold watch, I’d guess they’d have to issues at all ordering it for you. Let me know if you need the part number and I’ll dig it up for you.

Thank you! That’s great news, will speak with my AD about it. The WG looks amazing on leather strap in your pics.

Personally, I’d go for it. It’s not like anyone is suggesting binning the bracelet. More I suspect for a change up occasionally. As long as it’s not going to damage the watch then why not. Always good to have a different look, and a nice brown strap would go well with the bezel I’d have thought....
