Plenty of people who don’t like this; I think that this YM II is a very special watch:

This is now my crown jewel, official
Anniversary watch for me to celebrate many blessings in my life (10 diamonds, 10 years as an enterpreneur etc.):

The day I got my DD from my lovely AD (I gave her boss such an amazing feedback for worldclass service that she got some special bonus, I hope...):

This thread is funny as this forum emphasises to buy what you like and when you do everyone gets disappointed lol

Congratulations I think you did a great move. You swapped two heavy hitters and for a iconic day date and some diverse range of SS pieces for a great rotation.

I used to own a yacht master that I purchase preowned, great colour combo and wore really
Comfortable on my wrist, only reason I sold it was because I purchased it preowned and there was a couple marks in it that were from previous owner that couldn’t buff out and started to bug me.

Anyway congrats and enjoy

Enjoy my friend. Not the moves I would have made but to each his own. If we were all the same this world would be a boring place.

Thanks! Well said! I feel the same:
In this forum there are certain pieces that you should like or own. I’ve bought some models just because I felt that I should love those certain watches—just because they are hot models and hard to get or very expensive.... because the majority in this forum appreciates some certain watches. These are not good reasons for me to buy watches anymore.
Actually, it would be so boring if we would share the same taste in watches.
I love to follow all the different choices people are making!

I really enjoy hearing the "why" behind member selections/purchases.

Congrats...!

I like the YM2 and just happened to chance upon one in SS yesterday at an AD and tried it on, looks and feels very nice. Still deciding if i should get it as the discount on it was only 5%.

It think this ”Why” -part is the most interesting thing here! You can learn a lot if someone is opening up the process behind the decisions.
