Of course does not mean you have to change either.
So I agree with a lot of this except for your interpretation of how the tudor brand can get what it deserves. In my experience the Rolex & Tudor Watch Topics forum has always been the most popular section with by far the most exposure and life. I love reading Tudor threads and have a lot of respect for the brand. For those two reasons I’d hate to see all those threads lose so much exposure. Simply put while I love and respect the brand, I don’t think it will come close to having the traffic it would in a section with out Rolex.

On a side note, I think it’s an interesting topic, and I don’t agree with all that it’s been like this for 15 years, “end of story”, perspective.

Rolex and Tudor always being grouped together on forums is annoying. They are family but they are individuals as well.

Time to let the little brother stand on his own.

I agree!!! This thread should be moved to the "Announcements / feedback & Support" section. I've no idea why it continues to take up real estate in the Rolex General Discussion sub forum.

yes separate - change is good! It's a big boy brand now - they can survive on their own for sure.

/Edit
And while at it - do a new forum for Rolex Investing so we get rid of those also
And while at it - new rule the "Incoming" should all be consolidated in one thread and not 15 a day
And while at is - new rule "do not ask TRF which watch you should buy as a first Rolex"

I understand the position of the Moderators. But, I voted to separate them as I believe that Tudor is large enough and has enough interest here that breaking them out could be justified. I believe that Tudor might be the second most discussed brand on the TRF and if you took the PP incoming and list posts out, it might exceed them. It would definitely have more activity than Breitling. I love it when someone says that Tudor is the poor mans Rolex. I believe that in the current market Tudor is the smart man's Rolex. I also like the car analogy. To me Rolex is Lexus and Tudor is Toyota. If you are a car person, you get it.

So I understand why some Tudor owners want it to stay within the Rolex forum.
Except most TRF Tudor owners already have a Rolex. So there's that.

Personally I'd prefer that Tudor have it's own forum. I get the relation, I get that Tudor is a part of Rolex. But it would be easier to go to a Tudor forum when I was looking specifically for Tudor info, likewise for Rolex.

I wouldn't want every car GM makes captured under a General Motors forum. i would want a "Chevrolet" "GMC" "Buick" etc. forums. Just makes more sense to me.
