There are multiple BLROs on the forums in good to NIB condition, ranging from $16k to 18.75k. I’m sure they keep just as good time as DavidSW’s

I just can’t get behind paying twice msrp for a watch, I understand supply and demand and the whole situation that we’re currently in with the market but not for me. It’s too bad because I think the watch is a stunner at the right price point but not for 18-20k.

I buy and sell watches as a hobby so I don’t get too attached. Some of my watches are definitely meant to be kept and others are definitely just “inventory.” But at a certain price yes I would sell my Pepsi. I might not get another one right away but I’m sure over time I would be able to get one near where I got this one. To be clear this isn’t my job or a business, it’s just a way I’ve been able to offset the cost of the hobby a little.

And you are only talking about a SS Rolex. Same is happening with gold Nautiluses, so there is a ton of money about and a Rolex is very cheap in comparison so can't see this momentum changing.

Not really. My AD has not received ANY SS profesionals in over six months. Granted he is a small AD but compared to what he got in 2017 and 2018 the last six months is are a real drought.

And, in Chrono24 there used to be about 250 up for sale of this reference, now down to 178 units worldwide. Some of the really reputable sellers in Germany asking well over 21K for one.

+1 and you will have a far superior time piece. You can get an AP Chrono for same price as the BLNR and a couple grand more than the BLRO is going for grey and it runs circles on any Rolex SS model. I really just don't understand the craziness over Rolex.

Agreed, No reason to bash anyone or be negative but if anyone else has noticed these watches just sit on Chrono and other sites. Some have been up forever. People aren't lining up to pay double retail because if they were there wouldn't be any listed. It's mostly a pipe dream for the grey's and other people flipping. Sure some unfortunate newbies or people that have money to burn pay those prices but I believe for the most part people who are into this hobby are a bit smarter than that. I could see a couple of grand over retail but double for a Rolex watch that is not "rare" is insanity.
