I don't know the guy so can't comment but his catalogue of poor life style choices are his prerogative and doesn't necessarily mean he's a bad person....it's of no consequence to either you or me...x

Exactly. I'm not even going to respond to the other guy. You doh't have to know someone to know whether or not they're a good person. I didn't know Charlie Manson either but I can safely say he wasn't a good dude. And no, I'm not comparing the two.
