Awesome Bill, thank you for asking I had her smog-checked yesterday (passed), rented a secure storage garage where I keep her, (my condo complex only has car ports, although I live in a safe area I am still not comfortable leaving it out like that) and next week will have her cleaned up and get the CA registration done. Running like a beast!

Glade your taking care of her. Honor Dad.

My neighbor had a '67 split window Corvette and he always promised me when I was out of school he would give it to me. He died of cancer in '79 and his brother from CA got it. From what I heard, his brother didn't want anything to do with it because it was a pain to register in CA and sold it for a song. My neighbor was a Merchant Marine and was gone for months at a time and the car sat on blocks. The last time I was in it was about '77 or '78 and it had less that 15k miles.

Heck of a story, Paul.

Just another reason why I love cars. I believe they can bring people together. A father and son bonding over their love of cars is just a classic story.

Now I understand the poster! Definitely do it!

Thanks for sharing such a touching story. It’s tough to lose a Dad, never mind two. I hope mom is okay and settles in, a tough transition for sure. I hope she is okay, all my best!
