It is enigmatic on so many levels!

Although I love fun cars and have always driven one, I like this thread a lot! Way better than all those pictures of watches that just so happen to have a steering wheel logo or expensive wallet or whatever in the picture.

Have 3 Rolex’s. 116610LN, 16570 and 16234.

The value of the T4R goes down every year the watches.... not so much.

I do have more money into the T4R than the watch collection but given the choice I would drive much less car before giving up any of my watches.

Love the latest generation T4R’s body style. Considering a higher mileage used one for a daily in the near future. It’ll be a dedicated dog hauler and winter/mud warrior.

Your post gives me even more confidence in them.

SD4K as my daily watch and drive a 5 year old Z4 which probably cost me the same as my watch.

Like others, sucks to spend a lot on a depreciating asset and thinks that financially aware individuals get this. Don’t get me wrong I’d love a Porsche or Ferrari but don’t have the wealth to feel comfortable with either (yet!).

All comes down to an individuals priorities ultimately here tho

My green Oyster Perpetual and a Volvo 240 wagon from 1992, which was towed away yesterday because my fuel pump is most likely dead And I fix watches, not cars...

She should be back on the road by tomorrow afternoon

I drive a 2010 328i with 100k miles. Has some dings and scratches and it physically isn't in great shape, but as long as the engine runs well I plan to drive it another 5 years at least. Count me as +1 for those of us that prefer a great watch to a great car

Hi guys. Even though I don't have modest vehicle (I don't have hyper luxury car neither) I can see at least that it is completely normal to have more value in Rolexes than in car(s) :D.

I have a number of watches and enjoy collecting and wearing all of them. Not really a car guy, I drive a 2004 Honda. its fun to drive and reliable (so far) so no need to change at this stage. I have a number of priorities, cars just don't make it into my top 10.

Would be refreshing to hear about those who have fantastic watches but modest vehicles

I love cars. But if I had the $ to buy a watch or a depreciating sport vehicle I’d go watch every time.

Currently have a 126710BLRO and a 216570 Polar

I daily drive a 2009 Volkswagen Golf rabbit. Recently purchased a 2016 Audi A3 for a great deal, but my wife drives it primarily

Curious to hear from u all.
i see vehicles as depreciating assets so mine are strictly functional. I have a 2019 off road premium 4runner ready for anything and a 2018 triumph bonneville bobber as LA traffic can suck sometimes. while neither are exactly "cheap" (i probably have $70k invested in truck) they are functional and enjoyed for their purpose.

current watches are blnr, 116610lv and 116600 sd4k

I always find it interesting when I see someone driving with an arm hanging out of the window with a watch worth more than the car being driven. I would personally prefer a nice car over a nice watch but I truly love both and spread my dollars across both segments.

116710 blnr and cowboy cadillac. Bought the watch when this guy was born with the idea of holding onto it for him, but he claimed the truck first, go figure.
