This is a hard one. I’d say don’t sell the hulk (as others have already said).

The Daytona is fantastic, but the hulk is also very special.

I think the green dialed Sub is 100% fugly. Of course what I think should not affect your decision.

No.

Daytona at RRP goes on the credit card then get a low cost loan to pay it off

You do not sell hulk unless you don’t like it. The hulk is killer and to me personally > daytona

But to not buy the daytona at RRP is silly. I made that mistake once. Hitting myself ever since...

Keep both and sell me the Daytona at a small finders fee. (Kidding...kind of)

If I had to sell one, it would be the BLNR.

just saying; if you reject a ceramic daytona at MSRP, you might regret that for a very long time. Think carefully.

Hmm, I have both and think I’d stick with Daytona. Hulk is great in a collection though.

I think you will regret passing the Daytona C at retail.
Not because of the value, but because if you pass on it, and then you strap one from another collector on your wrist at the next GTG with your friends, you will realize WHY the Daytona C is such an incredibly hyped up watch.
If you cannot get it at retail at that point, you will be kicking yourself!
The premium to buy it outside of retail (assuming you cannot get another at retail) is ALOT higher on the Daytona C than on the hulk or new batman. Think about that part.

Pick you favorite between the hulk and batman, sell the other and get that Daytona C. Get it FAST.
The only exception is if you really dislike the watch, in which case I would have a friend who I know would keep it get your allocation.

Go outside with the Hulk and take a long look at it in the Sunlight.Twist your wrist so the Dial reflects the light. If it doesn't Blow your Socks off. Dump It ! What Color is Rolex ? Here is a hint "GREEN". I have looked at my Sub 5513 for over fifty years. I still Love it! But,when I saw the "Big Mean Green Machine" in the Sunlight, I knew this was the One. I don't really care for the 50 Anv. because the Dial is Black. Just One last word. On the 5513 the Dial is Black and the Bezel is Black. On My GMT the Dial is Black and the Bezel is Black. But, when You Look at the Boxes they are All -- "Green"

Depends on what else you have, I wouldn't. BLNR is a black dial semi black bezel watch. Daytona is a black dial black bezel watch. Two of them would be less versatile than a Hulk and a BLNR. Hulk has a really nice color as well. Now if the Daytona was a white dial, maybe. But can I offer some out of the box thinking? Sell the BLNR and get the Daytona.

I would sell the Hulk, if you felt like you made the wrong choice, you could swap back with a nice chunk of change in your pocket.

Keep the Hulk. The Hulk is one of the few watches in Rolex's lineup that just has something majestic and indescribable about it. The Daytona is a great watch but is missing that special something.

That being said, the smart business move would be to put the Daytona on a credit card and flip it for a profit.

If it was me, no way.
I own the hulk, and have owned both SS 116500's.

The hulk remains one of my favorite watches after 4 years of ownership.
Daytona plusses: most comfortable SS rolex model on the wrist and great for smaller wrists. And of course, it's an icon
Minuses: the dial is a pain the butt to read under sub optimal lighting conditions and no date.

GMT and Daytona. Two incredible movements unique to Rolex. Also, you’ll have one jubilee and an oyster bracelet.

I like what you have personally and It sounds like you do too.. If you have to sell to buy I wouldn't do it. I'm not a Daytona fan, but that's me and I know there's a lot more that comes into play when your talking about getting a Daytona at msrp.

I find the black dual more legible and much prettier too. I do not get the WIS' infatuation with white Rolex dials at all?

Sell the Hulk, the BLNR is a far more attractive piece that will pair beautifully with the Daytona.

Fair comment... it's just I think sometimes people maybe can afford only one watch and they do need to sell or save up to swap watches... I think as long as something else is suffering ie your home and family then maybe it's ok.
