Lack of bracelet choices and no rubber strap offering for its sports line.

Even though I have the new bracelet with the solid links, it just doesn't feel as durable as bracelets on other watches. Don't know why.
What I'd change: -Put more removable links on the Jubilee bracelet. I just need one more link removed to fit my small wrist, but there are no more removable ones left. -Put a date on the Daytona. |

42.5 or a 45mm Submariner and Seadweller.
AR coating on all Rolexs, I swear to God 90% of the time I cannot see the date due to the glare on my 16610. My Omega PO has a booming lume that my Z series Sub cannot match, WHY? Send AD watch sales morons to Swiss Watch training so they know WTF they are talking about and dont insult my intelligence when talking to me about "Timepieces", call them frigging watches. I am sure I will think of more.... |

The perception that that I bought a Rolex to "show off". I will always remember going in to pick up my Sub and making the last payment, and one of the ladies in the store said "well, your definatly going to get noticed now". I nicely told her thats not why I chose a Rolex. Theres been a couple more occassions among co-workers, friends, and even my dentist who referred to Rolex as nothing more than male jewellery, who see the name and just think your wearing it to show off.
I say they can think what they want, I know why I wear a Rolex.

Indeed, I'm more fond of my father's box personally. Classic stuff. I love the polished and brushed bracelet, but it gets fine scratches easily. Both a plus and a minus there. I also go back and forth about the cyclops. I like it some days, others not so much.

I'm big on tradition and like classic and vintage Rolex watches. I don't care for the bling factor in some of the new offerings and I'm not a big fan of the increase in size. The larger Day Date looks like a freak to me. I understand why Rolex is doing this. It has to do with money and increasing sales. It would be interesting to see if the people purchasing Rolex watchs today are current and past owners, or 1st timers looking for the shiniest watch. I think Rolex has lost a lot of it's "class factor".

Date on the Daytona and remake some of the classics, i.e., modern version of the Double Red Sea Dweller and modern version of the 6538 big crown.

At least all models should have AR coating for the cyclop, or entire thing as others have mentioned. Just don't know how well the coating will hold up.

The tacky boxes, cheapo instruction booklets and lack of consistency when it comes to the extras (anchors, red seals, polishing cloths, etc).
