NO NO NO. It must be the Sub. It will look better with your TUX and your future wife got it for you. No need to risk hurting her feelings.
PS> Congrats on the wedding.

It doesn't matter how you justify wearing the Explorer 2. If you don't wear the one your wife got you, it may not cause fights necessarily. But there is a good chance that she will be disappointed in your decision and harbor a quiet and secret resentment toward you for it.

Wear the one she surprised you with!

Bro, unless you want her to rub it in your face for the rest of your life, wear the sub. These things have a way of resurfacing at 11pm 5 years from now. WEAR THE SUB.

Theres crap from our first date she reminds me of.

Sub. Compliment to your fiancé. Goes better with a tux. This is not a hard decision. I own both watch models, very familiar with it.

This is really a kind of „problem” one should consult with general public...

Having been married and divorced twice, the best marriage advice I can give you is....

Don't take marriage advice from me.

But if you decide to take my advice, wear the Sub.

Both great choices IMHO, but a gift from the person you are about to marry holds extra sentimental weight! plus you will feel good seeing all the photos of you wearing something your wife GIFTED you, then if you pass this watch down to your children (if you decide to have any), it becomes even more special holding a good strong story behind the legacy! SUB It out my man! Explorer "IT" later!!!!
