Forgive me for saying it again but I have my name on an incoming for the past year. Most beauful watch I’ve seen. And about the John Mayer thing, I would have never known about this watch without the hype so thank you John!!

I won’t wear this watch daily, more of a special occasion watch; so because we’re still in lockdown I haven’t had a reason to remove the stickers and wear it out. In any case I sized it up and wore it correctly for the first time.

I dreamed about buying the watch for 4 years (4 years ago my financial status was dramatically different / worse) and to me (I’ll admit a Daytona enthusiast) it’s my modern grail piece. Value could depreciate by 50% and to me it’s still worth every penny I paid. Gives me the same feeling I still get putting on my first ever Swiss watch (116520 WF) I bought myself 10 years ago when I had no business spending that kinda money on a watch. Anyway, thought I’d share my story, hope you all experience the same excitement I do.

More importantly hope your all well during COVID-19! Be safe

Thanks for sharing your story and congrats on achieving your goal! I just sized my own 116508 as the AD’s are still not open, and couldn’t wait any longer. So glad I did, because it is a truly stunning and special piece. Enjoy yours in good health mate!

Thanks to everyone for the positive comments.

figured it was "time" to purchase a decent watch roll to store my watches in without needing to "lug" a load of Rolex boxes around.

Smashing line up in that watch roll

I need a compact travel roll that can take 4. I’m looking too. One with dividers.

Wearing my green today. Absolutely love it

Each to their own of course and all strength to the OP, a pretty sweet watch.
When you said “where demand is only going one way?” Which way did you mean.....?

Demand certainly isn't decreasing; I'm amazed that even the Platona is commanding a premium. The might yet be hope for my underappreciated Milgauss!!! I realize this is a few month old thread and congratulations on the gold and green Daytona!!!

You got a really nice watch. You paid a very small premium. In a few years time with inflation this will seem like a bargain price. Trust me on this one. Enjoy and dont look back.

16% premium is not slot given the demand for this hot model. Congrats and enjoy
