A fellow TRFer is trying to help me out with his AD. If I can work out a deal I’ll be sure to update.

It’s your call but sometimes taking a calculated gamble on an AD may pay off.

I don’t know how well you know them but from your posts it seems you’ve been giving them quite some business so they know you’re legit.

If you feel comfortable to take their word for it (from the store manager, no less) the next one that comes in Should have your name on it...

If you’re a regular customer they have no reason to screw you over.

I appreciate your input. I’ve purchased 9 watches from them, including a WG Daytona and other brands. I didn’t purchase to move up a list. I love every watch I bought.
So the skeptical part of me thinks that they won’t offer me a Daytona because they know I’ll keep buying.
But in the end, I’m going to go where I can get the best deal because the money I could save would pay for the premium of a Daytona anyway. And I have a 116519 so I’m not dying for a SS Daytona.

Thanks.

3 ADs. One said no discount on any watch. Rolex doesn’t allow it.
The other offered 10%. I countered with 15%. No reply.
Third hasn’t followed up with me at all.
And all 3 said no bundles.

The excitement has waned so I’ll look elsewhere and if a great deal comes up I’ll jump on it.

Your adamant to buy from an AD? You wont get better than around $35k for this piece from anywhere.

An AD wont come near this price so might as well go gray and save the $5-6k.

Yup. I’m finding that out. I have purchased from TS before and have no qualms with it. I just thought that buying from my AD would put me in a good position as far as being offered cool pieces.
But it’s becoming obvious that buying from an AD is too costly.
