So 40 mm Subs and 39 mm OPs discontinued?? I’m afraid I need an answer ASAP. Cannot wait until tomorrow morning ;)

everybody's saying that it's underwhelming because all we have are pictures.
once people start visiting ADs, seeing them and trying them on, and reading the "incoming" threads, you'll change your mind. FOMO is a potent thing. |

The only thing worthy of the Sub fanfare was the upgraded 3235 movement. It's a good deal for Rolex now that they can use the same movement for their Sub and GMT II line. Going to 41mm and slimmer lugs...meh!

SKY-DWELLER
New Model 2020 Oyster, 42 mm, yellow gold $40,000 $40k for an "elastomer" rubber bracelet ? Forget about it. The new OP dial colors remind me of those underground watch shops in Shanghai ! Not interested in any of the "new" watches. |

They had a great opportunity to revive the Stella dials with the OP lineup, but, yeah...

How does a 41mm Sub affect the SD43? Or does it?

Maybe with all the new drops, it will be a distraction away from the Pepsi, and prices and availability will be a bit more in tune.

Me too. I wanted a darker blue. I would have jumped on a dark or sunburst blue. Now, I don’t know...

Yep. It’s killing me. I was ready to add if the blue had been right, for me.

Based upon this terrible release, I would expect the 214270 to be the next unobtanium.

They basically took the whole colour range from Doxa subs and put them on the OP...!

The Sub was upgraded with an improved movement that was sorely needed. Otherwise it looks exactly the same, as expected. The additional bezel colors is welcomed as well.
I'm wondering who will spend $40k on a Sky Dweller (it's an annual calendar mind you) instead of PP or VC. I guess it's better than spending that kind of money on a PM Sub, GMT or Daytona. |

Blue, Black and Silver will sell. The less conventional colors will sit in the case. |

I wonder if the new green and blue bezel models are the exact same green and blue seen on the Hulk and Smurf. Hard to tell from these images but they look a lot more muted.

so disappointing -
My money is safe - if the blue only had a sunray blue dial I would be all over it -- But W-TF did they take the Gold crown off the TT models?? This was my biggest problem wit the TT Yachtmasters... At least I hear Grand Seiko has something coming out this week!

Here's a great video of the black Subs from Mr Koh... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k4x2jqNF8s0 100% positive it is and so is the white gold model also using the same as the 111619LB. |

Those new OP colors are awful. Absolutely awful. Was Rolex recently purchased by the Swatch Group?

Wow! A huge disappointment like the rest of 2020. Rolex is the new Swatch. No thanks.

To their credit, they did restrain themselves by only deciding to put one hideous color on the dials of the OP's, instead of the addition of a second one around the perimeter of the hour markers as well....

I have a LN GMTc and a panda ROC, that green OP could be interesting... But if I was looking for my first nice watch I would go straight to the conservative colours |
