This. Glad I got my 39 Black when I did. I also can't believe they discontinued the white dial.

For some reason the release of the OP41 makes me not want to buy a DJ41 anymore....

Very Doxa-esque.

I’ve got nothing against Doxa. In fact I really like them, but the funky colours belong more on a fun dive watch than on the OP line IMHO.

If Rolex enthusiasts hate it then you can be sure it'll sell like hot cakes and be extremely popular .

I don’t love the double markers but the colors are cool

I look forward to seeing the new OP41 in person. I like the colors and may buy one or two or three. Who knows.

I agree. After waiting all this time there is nothing exciting in these new release.

New OP. Thoughts?

I like the silver dial OP41 with gold hour markers and hands. That should pair well with my chain and bracelet. I was hoping to hold out for a OP39 in white but guess not.

Howdy,

I think they really nailed it with the OP. The improved link and Stella dials really jumpstart this line, formerly criticized as being "entry level" (a phrase I HATE to hear), to now being what I suspect will be desirable pieces. The yellow and the Tiffany blue are amazing!!!!

Take care,

Ruddiger

I just did a quick measuring with Photoshop on the official front view photo. And, though a rudimentary measurement, the case seems to be more like 38-39mm than 41mm. Assuming the lug width is 20mm

Lug width 21mm would make it 40mm

Reminds me of the "collectible" watches that were in Autoweek full page ads for $299 constantly.

I also want to try this on.
I'm surprised the price is not higher.

It looks much darker IRL, check out ABTW's wrist shot. Really striking deep green. I love it.

I like the yellow, but would miss a date on a watch of this style. Not sure i like the double ticks either.

Interesting observation. If you’re looking for a basic three hand Rolex and don’t need a date, saving $4000 and more dial choices sounds like a good deal.

I'm not sure how well it would age though.
Seems to be looking darker judging from ABTW's wrist shot. Should age well.

I'm glad I got my 36mm blue Arabic 3-6-9 when I did. It just arrived last Friday and I had the hardest time finding anyone with one in stock, so I went preowned. It's too bad they discontinued it, but I do like that green dial... That green combined with Arabic 3-6-9 numbers would have been a great combo!

Is it a satin or glossy finish or sunburst? It's hard to tell in the pics.

I tried on the Red dial version today, was too bright and in your face for my tastes.

Unfortunately the Green one I tried on at another AD the day before had already sold, I was considering buying it.

In these markets, if you have to think about it. You better think about another one.

Can you describe how the green dial looked in natural light?

From the photos ive seen it has looked very different from one photo to the next.

I really like them. I have never been a huge fan of the OP but I think the new dial colours have injected a bit of life into them. My wife has been wanting a bigger watch than her YM37mm recently and she loves the 41mm tiffany blue.

Wasn't a fan of the double batons but they are growing on me. The green and silver interest me the most.

Love the new color options, especially the yellow and green.

If the OP41 is truly 41mm it'll wear like a dinner plate.
