When you put them aside by side, the op looks fake.

Unless it's a lighting issue that makes the op's hands look different

Fake within couple of weeks is not possible. So, I think its real watch. Also, only 'u' is wonky but rest all of the watch looks perfect. So it's real but with minor flaw with incomplete u.

I would return to AD and ask for replacement right away!

A misprinted/broken letter like that wouldn't add any value at all to a vintage watch today, and won't add any to this one in future.

What about the long E on the 1675? Was that an error or just a specific way it was written on the dial?

I would take it back to the ad and get replacement. You paid for the Rolex quality, not a poorly made watch.

Did you have to listen to the AD recite the entire speech about how that watch took an entire year to manufacture while he handed you a watch with a dial that wasn’t inspected?

So your dealer is trying to make you think that you have something ultra rare that somehow fell through the cracks? Ask him how much it sold for at auction and offer to sell it back to them and see what they say.

I can't decide if it would drive me crazy & I'd want it replaced, or it's so ironic that I couldn't part with it (until RSC replaces forcibly replaces it at the 1st servicing). (Probably the latter!)

I would personally ask RSC to fix/replace immediately. Perhaps the error adds some marginal value in the future but I would not want to look at that each day

"Once is a mistake, twice is a decision, three times is a habit." If there was only one long E, nobody would want it. But it is a rare mistake, but common among watches made during certain period. Same as spider dial, patination, stick dials, floating Cosmographs, APH dials, etc, if it would be a singular event it'd be a mistake. Nobody would want it. But given enough of those mistakes they may become collectible. If all OP41s made now had that error and Rolex fixed it in let's say a couple months, it could become collectible one day (or it could not). This is a singular case.

Maybe it's the lighting, The dial color looks off, the font and level of print is not consistent, the hang tag isn't the correct color, or is it? Rolex pending offer card. What is that? Probably could find more if I look longer. Otherwise hang on to it don't sell this watch.

If I didn't know any better I'd say this is the first batch of fake 2020 Oyster Perpetual getting ready to hit the market. Even the date on the card looks like it was written by a five year old.

Sry for the late reply due to busy for work. The Rolex service centre provide two offers for me, First, replace a dial for me, but they need some time since the watch is so newly released and can not reserve the dial at this juncture. The second one is replace a new watch for me, same answer, need to wait few months for the stock available.
