Do people think there will be a Tudor price increase following release of the new models?

I've heard rumors saying no price increase, but those are just rumors. I think that the supply/demand of Tudors is such that even if there were a formal increase, I'm not sure it will affect the grey market too much. The new models may be difficult to obtain or may go for a premium, however.

I'm hoping for a Coke, an update to the Pelagos line (perhaps a green model?) and something that I know won't happen: A Big Date! I love big date watches, and they clearly won't ever appear on a Rolex watch, but a big date Tudor could be a killer.

There's nothing I can make out from the image they presented; it looks like a bird breaking free of a cocoon. Maybe that's what it is. Who knows and time will tell. I'm on the hook for a President (oops I mean Royal) so nothing else in the immediate foreseeable future.

But, i think it’s more likely we see a coke in the Tudor GMT with an updated movement that fixes the date issue.

Anecdotal evidence seems to indicate that even in the past year Tudor has NOT been able to provide permanent fixes for the GMT. So, I'm a bit skeptical Tudor has an updated movement ready which fixes the date problem. I would love to be proven wrong.

Just when people are postulating that it may be a red and black bezel watch it might actually turn out to be a red script Ranger. That would be surprising to see the discontinued mystical and highly controversial model resurface.

I for one would first in line if they did a black bay chrono with a white dial.

I would love to see a smaller Pelagos, they can use the 58 movement and bring the dimensions down.

It would be the ultimate daily.

Lots of good possibilities. I really like the idea of a scaled down Pelagos......guess we will see what next week brings :)

If this ended up being a bb58 coke I’d be on board and do t even really love the coke. The complement to my blro and blnr would be nice though.

I had the same guess but the more I think of it I'm not sure they can do that.

Part of the reason the 58 case is so thin is because it's just a basic watch with no added functions.

If they added a 24 hr hand and a date window I would think they would not be able to squeeze it into the current 58 case.

But they could just offer the 58 in a red bezel black dial with next to no modifications.

Looking forward to this Wednesday either way

I think they can keep it under 13 mm thick. If so I think it is fine.

I’d love to see black bays and black bay 58’s with date added. Offering an SS Pelagos bracelet on them would be sweet too, but that’s probably asking too much.

Here is my guess. A new chronograph watch to accommodate some of the many, many people that can’t get a Daytona.

Did Rolex not do a deal with Breitling that allowed Tudor to use their in house Chrono movement in exchange for Breitling using Tudor’s in house 3 hand movement?

This right here.

39-41mm and 12.5mm thick.

I'd probably wear it more than the Sub. I've had two of the fullsize models and can't get past the size, otherwise almost the perfect tool watch.

ETA: I'd also love a BB58 with something like the P01 dial. Or just standard non gilt think 79190.

Isn't that movement what powers the Tudor BB Chrono?

Also for daytona alternatives you've already got the fastrider and the heritage chronos, I can't see a new chrono model.

I would like to see a more refined fastrider though, the steel version with a ceramic bezel was much nicer, the current model looks too fashion orientated IMO

They can’t. But Norqain uses the same movement and their Freedom GMT is MUCH more wearable than the 41mm blackbay/Pelagos. The dimensions are closer the to 58 in terms of wrist presence.

The Norqain freedom GMT is 14.5mm thick. The same as the Tudor GMT.

Yet the Tudor GMT has the added benefit of 200m WR due to oyster case design and Tudor version of triplock.

Rolex was able to package the 16710’s GMT movement in as thin a case as the BB58, so why not Tudor 30 years later?
