I think this may be the best option.

Generally speaking, if a person is asking this type of question, they really want the watch, but their reservations are warranted. A rubber strap brings down the flashy factor while still having a business casual presence. Change out the strap to the bracelet for weekends or going out etc.

Does anyone who owns a bluesy ever feel awkward when wearing it? Do the gold portions scratch easily?

Thanks
Yes, yes, and yes.

I sold my LB after a year. Gorgeous watch, but just too much for me.

If you have (or can buy) a spare Oyster bracelet, the Bluesy looks phenomenal on a plain steel Oyster. It tones it down a ton, too.

I wore my bluesy to the office everyday for over a year. Not sure anyone noticed it except for another dude that had one. I work in tech sales so it’s super casual.

Buy it. Wear it. You’ll be surprised how little people notice it.

No. Just wear it with reasonable awareness where you might potentially scratch or ding it.
Enjoy.

It's all about health, happiness & family. The rest are just necessary inconveniences we have to deal with.

I’d wear it to work. I have a 114060 and it is definitely dialed back quite a bit. I wear it to the office all the time.

I’d wear a bluesy too depending on what I’m wearing. I do wear a lot of blue shirts with khakis and brown shoes, so it would look nice with what I wear.
