Just got a 228206, I was planning to save it until the actual 10 year anniversary day... found it impossible to not wear it, even to just go pick up some takeaway.

That DayDate is gorgeous. Unless you simply aren't in love with the color of the rose gold I'd stick with it.

I have a white face ug dd40 that I wear every day. In fact I had it on today when I was doing a little work on my 911. It survived no problem;-)
