5711R and 5712A are thin. Tried both of them. prefer 5711R.
5990r is a holy grail. I guess weight would be similar to 5740g but thicker.
Own 5968A, orange strap spot on. Green G is one of my favorites.
Prefer 5170p over 5172g, 5170p is discontinued.
5271P is an application in both US and EU, heard 5270P is an application in the EU now.
Congrats!

Agreed on 5170P VS 5172G, at least from pictures I have seen.
I do not believe 5270P requires application, I could have picked either this time around.
Can't wait to see my 5270J on the new straps (orange, green, grey)... I really love the watch. The only issue is that it really "shows" its price and when visiting a city and walking a lot you can really sense you need to hide the watch some times. I never had that feeling before.

Even my wife whom knows nothing about watches looked at 5270 and said it’s very noticeable- I like the other one better, it’s more low key (5740)

I always wear nice watches just this is one step above - maybe it’s in my head as I know what I paid for.

What a sight to behold, congrats!

Personally love the 5235R. But based on the collection in your picture, and the fact that you live between two countries, I would probably go for a 5164R instead of the 5968.

What, no Tourist Edition 5711 (oops I meant Tiffany Edition :-) and we're supposed to be impressed?

Just Kidding! Those are truly fantastic pieces, especially the 5270J, now THAT is a Patek.

Congratulations – wear them both in the best of health, and Happy Holidays. Cheers.

This is where the 5990r will come into play 😂

I don’t want to be rude and annoying to my contact by already talking about another hard to get piece. But next week I may reach out to Them and try to offer another bundle instead of just one piece - I have to return in February or March - let’s see.

Or simply get the third piece I committed to while asking for a 5968

I still need to decide on a 3rd piece for this deal.

I am seriously considering 5235r - I really enjoy the piece for its significance and its looks, the dial is stunning in person. The other option is 5231J - I love WT - I own 5230r and its one of my favorite watch. It may not work for the AD as the 3rd piece as its a "harder" piece to get but will inquire.

If you can pull a 5231 out of this you’re a true magician and could source watches full time lol

PS always liked the 5230R think It’s so overlooked and a great entry to the brand these days but seems to go ignored.

The 5231J is an application piece. Has that changed?

Being an application piece the wait time is a lot longer. Further worsening that is the fact that, I believe (still), only two people at Patek are certified to create those dials.

Curious as to what kind of purchase history you may need for this piece? This is probably the only application piece which can fit into my budget without breaking my bank which I can enjoy.

I am hesitant to bring up with my AD until I am 100% sure. Don’t want him to start the wheels rolling too soon.

Would be 9 if all on order is delivered with 4 delivered already.

A mix of desirable models and some grand complications and complications.

I am being out on a watch ban by my CFO at home.

Will need to wait until all the incomings on order is being delivered before I can bring it up for her approval.

Sporty (leather, size etc) and dressed (precious metal) and decided to not take it.

Now I have to chose something else in the same ball park - I am going back tomorrow to finish paperwork and pick the 3rd piece.

What do you guys think this should be?

Some candidates are: 5235r, 5205g, I like 5231 but not sure that would be an option

OR maybe spend a little more and try to get a 5968 - I tried the 5236P and liked it last month.

What do you guys think? any feedback?
Huge congrats on some real end game pieces here. Beautiful. Wear in good health and look forward to seeing more of your incomings.

I am now thinking 5236. Sorry for the crappy pictures but tried it on at AD and in person it really looks stunning - Very clean and simple look. I don't have any Blue / Plat combo.

Now its quite a bit more $$$ - Which is OK.

But I am trying to pair every expensive pieces with a naut.

What do you guys think about 5236?

Looks stunning. I have been starting to like the dress watches (and dome clocks - thanks horology ancienne ) from PP more and more. Great addition to the 5270R even though I Iike the 5370p and 5170p better. Still stunning.

Total of nine but 4 delivered. Would you care to elaborate? Bulk orders of that size is not something I was aware of… what kind of deal did you work out with AD?

Pure class my friend. I personally like your pics more than the official ones, more "real" to me. And now I probably have to add it to my list as well.

Stunning. If I do not already own a 5320, this will be my top choice PC.
