Have to agree speaking for myself not a bit influenced or care by anything a so called celebrity wears. But today hype sells watches as many today buy the hype to wear it.

We're now entering the twilight zone of absurdity. We have a troll posting celebrities on SM trying to prop up the value of a watch, exploiting TRF IMO.

The OP has contributed a bit, so I wouldn’t call him a troll.

Though, with this topic, it reminds me of many things I dislike. Celebs, “influencers” and everything surrounding them taking the majority.

Yeah, I remember friends of mine telling me I was a sucker for buying $20,000 worth of FB stock when it was selling at $40 a share. Last time I checked, it was selling for around $335 a share.

I wouldn’t be so quick to criticize these folks, because if you bought this watch when it was selling for less than $20,000, then that was most certainly a good decision. My guess is that you were calling these folks fools and suckers back then too…

We're so much better than people who are impressed by "celebrity." We're not gauche. We're not unsophisticated. We're not tacky. We're not starstruck. We don't care what others think. We don't wear "tool" watches because we're tools. Rather, we wear them because we are nuclear physicists and deep-sea divers and NASCAR race drivers and spelunkers. I can't believe this new generation.

Do you think this turquoise blue dial watch is a tool watch for nuclear physicists, deep sea divers and NASCAR race drivers?

I’m the last person influenced by celebrities, but this is most certainly not a tool watch. This watch was designed and made for swanky parties hosted by multi multi millionaires. It’s not for climbing Mt Everest or working at CERN.

Much more concerned about those who are influenced than the influencers.

OP, that's harsh and uncalled for. C'mon man. Whatever is bothering you in life I hope it's eradicated. This is meant to be a fun, lighthearted thread, and it reflects the current hype around this watch.

It's Christmas Eve, brother. Cheer up. Enjoy life and the Rolex timepieces currently have.

A couple of years ago we used to laugh at the wasters who called themselves Influencers, now they will soon be able to legitimately call themselves Dictators over the sheeple, as Social Media jumps the Shark into North Korea.
