Thank you!
Yes this forum is intriguing with many brands discussed here.

Your new one should look much better.
Thanks!
Below is a closer picture of the S screws from their website. There are some valid concerns over the servicing of the watch by other watchmakers who do not have the tool to turn these special screws. I guess I will have to send my watch to RG for servicing.

How come it is delayed?

A friend got his delayed due to a wrong dial being installed. His should be arriving soon though. He also got two C with one on bracelet and the other one on rubber straps. Probably one of the most comfortable watches in the market.

1 month is hardly a delay.

The RG team will update the status with pictures of the WIP - how is it possible a wrong dial is installed?

Actually a correction. It was the wrong hands.

RG team actually noticed it and asked if my friend is willing to take it as-is or wait a little longer for the replacement. It was ordered directly with RG.

Very cool. Look forward to seeing the collection pictures (with Japan in the background).

I wish I was in the position to have ordered one before the reference being discontinued, I have to say I’m disappointed with that. Such is collecting, 2024-25 budget was committed almost a year ago !

Hopefully there will be another small cased watched in the pipeline (although my understanding is that is not the case currently).

A 40mm L2 would have my money but apparently it will not happen.

Thanks, I will post some Japan wristshots!
I do understand there are still some IMR available (WG white dial, WG blue dial, WG black dial, RG white dial, plat white dial, plat black dial, titanium white dial, black titanium blue and white dials). You might want to email or DM then via IG to find out more.

If the IMR is not to your liking, Romain Gauthier previously told us there will be another "micro-rotor" in the near future with similar size to IMR.

That’s long been locked and loaded, and it’s not 40mm.

I’m asked him this same question in 2018/2019.

Yes, I’m aware they are still available but as I understand it it’s currently “last orders”. As mentioned, I spent my watch money for both this year and next so that doesn’t really help me!

Interesting your comment about a future small watch as I asked just this week and did not get that answer. I will ask again.

Nice stoked
To see it.

Romain’s movements are all so beautifully designed, and then executed to an unmatched level.

His watches are breathtaking. The owner of the IMR below is one of the nicest gentlemen I ever met.

Massive congrats! What a stunning timepiece! Had the pleasure of meeting Romain recently and seeing some of his horological marvels. Needless to say, impressed!
