Very strange indeed. It was filmed in Portmeirion in Wales I believe. To be honest it still scares the s**@ out of me...Rather like the Grunka lunka's do

Had to share the TV with an older brother and sister so we took turns watching what we wanted. Lots of bargaining back then for TV time.

Battle of the Planets ; Keeop was the annoying one who chirped like a bird! Had one of the best named villains though "Zoltar".. just sounds very evil...
Jamie and the Magic Torch; great rocking theme tune
Flash Gordon/Buck Rogers/ King of the Rocketmen/ Zorro from the 1930/40's, loved the old adventure series, shown on tv during the holidays.
Johnny Weissmuller Tarzan Movies "ungowa cheetah"
Got into Lost in Space, Land of the Giants and Time tunnel, on Sunday mornings as a late teenager recovering from the night before

What a great thread - in addition to many of the shows already mentioned some of my favourite shows growing up were Brit comedies like "Benny Hill", "'Allo, Allo" and "Are you being Served?" and a little later on Red Dwarf.

Also people from UK/Europe may remember the "Ulysses 31" cartoon!

Yes, I remember all these old shows. I grew up on black and white TV's and did not get a color TV until 1978!!!
