I think it is hilarious that people jump through hoops to buy a mid tier luxury watch. There is absolutely nothing prestigious about owning a Rolex.
I have so many friends that love making it clear they have a Rolex. -10 outside and they have their sleeves rolled up so you have to see the watch. It just makes me cringe. I mean I appreciate Rolex, its watches, and what it has done for the watch hobby. I like my watches. I just don't think owning them makes me a part of some higher society. |
