Mayer Daytona.
In the metal, it’s unreal. If there was modern Gold Day-Date with a blue sunburst dial (Like the bluesy) that would be my grail and vote for most mesmerizing |

Easy to pull it off, the watch does most of the work.

100% concur. Rainbow Daytona, especially rose gold/black dial (116595RBOW).

As far as regular catalog models in recent years go, it'd be either a Milgauss or a DD. When it comes to vintage, don't get me started. So many are so fine... |

There isn’t a bad one in the catalog, and any could be. But for me, when I laid eyes on the Meteorite Pepsi, it was the one that took my breath away.

36mm steel explorer. It is perfect in its simplicity and somehow on the wrist not much could look better to me.

Several years ago, right after the Meteorite Pepsi came out, I visited a preowned watch dealer with a friend who manages a Rolex boutique. He had never seen one of these in person before because they were brand new and his boutique hadn't yet received one. It takes a lot to impress him since he deals with these pieces all day long, and I remember his reaction (like mine) was that we were both blown away by how nice this combination looks in person. |

I do love the blue dial of the 16613. That’s the watch that made me fall in love with Rolex. Rolex makes some very special dials. My favorites include the older enamel dials (including the white, now creamy, boiler gauge dials on the DJ), the platinum dial on my Yachtmaster, any meteorite dial, and the ice blue found on platinum watches, e.g. DD and Daytona. Even my entry level 114200 AK has a beautiful silver dial, with indices that are an interesting shade of blue. The slate dials and the older white pyramid DJ dials are also interesting and intriguing. |

I'm not sure a single watch posted so far qualifies.

The Bluesy is pretty intoxicating. I appreciate mine very much. I was actually just in the AD and they had a rose gold Daytona, yellow gold DD with silver dial (stunning) and a Bluesy in the case and that Bluesy just pops like none other. I go in stages though and in my mind right now the most lucrative/intoxicating is the white gold DD with Meteorite dial. It’s subtle but just works. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
