I’m completely shifted my focus to the Daytona. I had a chance to try it on again in Vegas this week, 11 series vs 12 - I really liked how the 11 wore.

Between the LV and the Daytona…I’d personally go with the Daytona. I’d definitely add the LV down the road.
I hope you’re not waiting to get one from an AD though (unless you already have an “in” or outstanding relationship)…if waiting, good luck seeing one in the next couple years…if ever. I mean… it happens sooner sometimes, but that’s very very rare. I’m sure you’re aware.

The Daytona is completely different from the gmt sub design language and way nicer in person than I realized.

It’s also pretty covert to the average person, wears perfectly.

I will be going grey for it.

I have both the LV and ND Sub. Funny thing is, I originally put my name in for the LV, and was offered by my SA a ND sub. He told me it would push back the LV time frame if I took it, but I decided to do it anyways. Wasn't even on my radar at the time. I am really thankful I did. Ultimately I was able to secure the LV as well, but I wear the ND the most of all my watches. The only other one that comes close to seeing as much time on the wrist is my Tudor "Panda" I picked up a year or so ago. I am on his list for a Daytona now (like many are). Originally I wasn't in the market for one, dial is a little complicated to easily see (like my sub) but I realized I look at my phone as much as my watch for the time, and it's as much about the feel/look as it is anything. Just look at some of the other top tier brands, you can barely even see the time!

I am in minority here but really don't like LV. Green bezel with a black dial is a weird combo for me. So I am in the ND camp, although for me a Sub is a daily beater, so Date function is really useful. However that makes it pretty similar to BLNR. That leads me to a different solution. Get Date Sub and Pepsi on Jub. Great combo! But again, I am biased...

I’m not so sure about that. I’ve never been interested in that particular reference. I’ve been offered and declined. I like the older one: Kermit.
