You too. So great that we can choose certain elements for ourselves. Ordered the 38.5mm glacier blue with double indices and red tip hand, brushed bracelet. Love that I can get brushed, which is far more my “style”, if I can be said to have any at all. |

Congrats. So ours will differ only by the index (I chose “12”). A friend of mine has just ordered a Glacier Blue 40.5, “12” index, red tip, not brushed. Seems to me that our ⭕️ of Antarctique lovers expands exponentially ![]() |

I am quite sure that the Antarctique is the coolest SS Sports luxury watch release in the last decade.
The Odysseus is a miss, unfortunately, disproportionate... |

My question to this thread, what is the consensus on this watching holding its value? Also does anyone know if they are delivering watches on the dates promised? |

The wait will be tough...but really looking forward to this watch. Wasn't sure which way to go for the 12 o'clock marker but went with the double indices which I actually don't have on any watches at the moment. It's the little things that make the difference in this crazy hobby

It’s a tough question in this thread. We tend to like this watch irrespective its future value. But then do you need to care? You may always resign at the cost of mere CHF100. |

Better than waiting on a 'phantom' list.

We do? I've never seen anyone here on TRF... oh, wait.
Nevermind. ![]() Quote:
Being she is without a doubt the undisputable better half, perhaps she would be interested in something special for herself? It IS Valentine's weekend, think romance. Use that special smile, make her breakfast in bed with a rose on the table. Fresh orange juice, her favorite coffee... And then profusely beg and plead. Don't be shy, you'll reeeeally need to seem desperate. Look, I find if it gets very bad, groveling while giving the very sad puppy dog eyes sometimes does the trick. But save that ONLY for when you REALLY need to pull out all the stops. Hope that helps. Or just get her interested in them too. If I may humbly ask, when was the last time she was gifted a timepiece? Last night my Muse, frankly, I'm the one that got conned. You think we have enablers here, try being married to one... who then turns the table on you(!).

Speaking of a timepiece for the better half… I know it is by faaaar premature, but I would love to welcome an SS sports watch for women from Czapek. Their take at it might just be fabulous.
A 36mm version of „something-inspired-by-Antarctique”. Preferably presenting a unisex approach, allowing us to borrow them from time to time from our halves. ![]() |

I’ve been debating ordering one with a production date on my birthday in May 2023. If i do, it’ll be black dial with red accents.

Sure seems like every 2-3 days passing by adds about a month of ordering lead time. Amazing. I have a February 3rd build date and ordered a couple days ago

The more I look at the configurations, I think black with red accents may be the most stunning. I was leaning towards the blue at first but am thinking black may be the way to go.

Black with seconds’ red head … top … and timeless … and for me a 12 (this including the small red triangle at noon), would be perfect.

In the club gents. Antarctique - Glacier Blue - DI - Red Tip - Satin & Polished - White Rubber.
Waffled a bit between Black, Deep Blue, Glacier, but went with the dial color I do not currently own. If it was my 1 and only, I probably would've went Black with 12 and Red Tip. Can't believe I'm waiting till March 2023, and here I was complaining the Grand Seiko Green Birch was September 2022... |

Congratulations. It’s a long wait but many items are in todays world. I place an order for an Airain type 20 November 2020 and it’s been delayed to May of 2022. Now that’s a wait! |
