Randy, you’re killing it!

Do you get decent longevity with those two Creeds? I only have Green Irish Tweed and find I get a bit scent blind, when others notice it long after I thought it had faded!

That happens to me with all of mine, I get used to it but others seem to compliment me regarding it. My wife is the scent queen and she has the best and happens to her as well. Most fragrances suggested to last a year but I find they can get more concentrated, stronger, regardless, too expensive to trash.

Good to know, thanks Randy. Yes, what is it called, maceration, or something like that? Can’t say I’ve noticed with my almost-two-years old bottle, but it sure hasn’t gotten weaker. When it runs out, I will probably get a different Creed. I like the ones you have, but several others too!

So, for TRF users, which Aventus is more popular? The original or the Aventus cologne?

Per the site:
Aventus—Fruity, Rich
Aventus Cologne—Woody, Fresh

From what I've seen on this thread, both are used by TRF'ers.

For me the original. I actually bought a new bottle today and while there checked out the new one. I always go back to the same 2 with Creed for the most part - Aventus and Green Irish Tweed.

For those looking for a new fresh summer scent, that is a hidden gem, Frederic Malle Lys Mediterranee is a MUST. Without question, among my collection, my all time favorite Summer scent (TF Neroli Portofino Forte is great too) and one of my all time favorites through the year. Plenty of longevity (8+ hours) and strong sillage. Reminds me of summers in the South of France or Almafi coast, really fresh and clean from the top to base notes. Definitely the most complimented along with Santal 33. Spicy ginger pairs with notes of orange blossom, lotus, and vanilla with a hint of musk to bring you straight to a Mediterranean breeze. Give it a shot if anyone is looking for an unique, intoxicating and vibrant Summer scent. They have a bunch of other great scents too, without question my favorite boutique manufacturer.

I’m trying to purchase a sampler but they don’t differentiate between boys and girls cologne. Got two others you recommend?

I’ve worn Geranium Pour Monsieur for years and quite like it.

FWIW, I feel like most of their fragrances are pretty unisex. My wife wears Lys Mediteranee and loves it.

I think I have some small samples it came with, shoot me a PM with your address and I will mail you one. For spring/fresh I would also recommend Tom Ford Neroli Portofino Forte, Hermes un jardin mediterranean, LV I'mmensite and my always go to will be Santal 33. If you want something no one else has and really smells incredible/always receive many compliments is Dolce Gabbana private blend Desert Oud, little pricey but worth it.

Wow. Thanks! I appreciate the scent recommendations. I’m just dipping my toes into fine colognes. For the longest time I was a Dolce and Gabbana “light blue” or “the one” user. I just recently bought a bottle of creed Aventus and I was happy with it at first but now it seems to be losing its longevity throughout the day.
