I wonder the result after regular wear.
Does the bezel get scratched easily?
I imagine yes the way it's polishing...

I am a little "afraid" that this will spoil the beauty of the watch in the long run, what do you think?

Sure, high polish / black polIshed steel will pick up hairlines. The shape of the bezel (a conic section) makes it hide scratches pretty good head on.

Most of the wear surfaces on the overseas can be completely replaced (if you don't want to polish) including the bezel as well as any given bracelet link that may get damaged.

Lastly, as with any polished surface, if it gets dirty or fingerprinted DO NOT dry wipe it regardless of how soft you think the cloth is. It needs to be rinsed first, preferably with soap and water. Then towel dried.

Thank you for the answer.
Concern confirmed.

I'm more of a completely original fan, so I want to take good care of it and wet it before cleaning, but certainly not over-polishing.

In short, we have to live and the watch lives with us, just to be aware that this is a negative point or to be taken into consideration.
I would prefer a brushed bezel.

I have worn my Overseas almost daily since Fall 2019 and it's still in great shape. I am generally careful with my watches, but I don't go out of my way to baby this one. Still looks great and works perfectly.

On an unrelated note, this is my favorite watch of all time, and has absolutely killed my desire to buy anything else :)

Thank you for the comment and return.

We can see that the bezel is scratched, but that's okay. On the one hand, it adds charm.

The blue dial is truly amazing.
This piece is really convincing, I am willing to sell my Royal Oak 15500 for one.
The bracelet seems more solid and less delicate to scratches, just as worked. Superior waterproofness, finishes of the same ilk, the caliber is grandiose, and the 3 quickly interchangeable straps are a big argument.

I contacted an official retailer, the model is no longer available directly for the moment, and at the brand's official store there is talk of a waiting list of several months...
It's going to be complicated.

There's a nice one in stock at Nashville watches. Chase will do the trade plus some cash your way I'm sure.

Talk about heavy hitters....
Think the nautilus looks best in steel but that gold overseas is a royal beauty. Awesome duo you have there :)

Excellent piece. Can you snap some shots on the leather/rubber straps?

This brand is really catching my eye.. Are these just as hard to come by as Rolex right now? Looking at these two models in particular

OVERSEAS SELF-WINDING
41 mm , Pink gold, 18K 5N pink gold OR steel any dial color

Can I joint in the fun? I picked this up 2 days ago, my first move away from Rolex and so far I am very happy with it.
The dial is incredible and the comfort of the rubber strap makes this watch a pleasure to own and wear.

First post - first proper watch

Just opted for a VC Overseas 4500 with silver dial. Should be here by the end of the week.

Really excited as the most I have spent on a watch before this was £400. Wanted to wait until I could get something decent, and only wanted to buy one watch. Been on the forum for a while now and it really helped seal the deal.

I want to add a few straps. With the silver face, I think blue leather and rubber as well as a brown and a deep burgundy in leather would work well!

Looking forward to getting this bad boy!
