On the fence with this brand. I'm drawn to the Glacier Blue dial. Discovered the brand today and reading up on it. The dial is stunning! Long wait time doesn't bother me. I'm just not completely sold on the company I'm wondering about longevity

Congrats to those who have placed orders

I recommend looking up some interviews involving the CEO, Xavier. He is what won me over to the brand.

+1. Same reservations but there's definitely some genuine passion over the brand from their CEO. I also connected with their US liaison, along with their sales manager at HQ and they seem to have a similar level of enthusiasm as fellow hobbyists.

Love the design, dial, and I'd rather throw my resources to brands like this.

You are completely right. Xavier is totally capturing, enthusiastic, knowledgeable and charming. Indeed, if you actually want to save money, you should avoid viewing his interviews 😀

If you have the time and interest, check out the 7 part YouTube series titled ‘The Story of the Antarctique Video Series’. It’s around 45 minutes in total, but you will learn a lot about the brand, the model, and Xavier.

I watched that series a few times. They also have another video about reviving the brand which shows the dial makers etc. They really did collaborate with some of the best in the biz

Really interesting to see the momentum of this brand re: awareness and enthusiasm...ordering is now well into April. At this pace, they could hit a 2 year backlog sometime before Watches and Wonders

If this situation evolves like in the past two weeks, then we may see very few 38.5mm. Before they’re officially announced and the formal lists made open, our fantastic guys at Czapek may have already decided to close the lists. Unfortunately.

Man, makes me want to be a watchmaker. Truly would love to be one, yet for now I don't have the time.

Just placed an order with a production date of May 29, 2023! (Birthday)

Went with the black dial, red tip second hand and fully brushed bracelet with additional black rubber strap.

Congrats! Really end of May 23? Pipeline is increasing incredibly fast, just few days gone from new colors launch and wait time almost doubled, this is clearly a pivotal point for the company, a step to a new level of complexity to be managed.

Congrats! Your May 29 looks awkward on the „Czapek” May calendar - a lonely shooting star

This forum is bad news - I saw my 2023 birthday production date was just about to be reserved, so I took it for myself, glacier blue

Thank you

There were earlier dates available but I figured if I'd be waiting a year + anyways why not tie it to a date that means something to me

The dates have virtually caught up with my birthday now :). I have specified the black rubber strap to go with glacier blue but I have Czapek a call just now to talk through the options. They indicated quite a few people have gone with the grey rubber with this colour dial for a sportier look. On reflection I think I agree so will likely change to the grey.

I have opted for the grey rubber with the Glacier blue dial. IMHO this tone of blue may not go well with black.
