The St. James in natural light. Coming out of the clinic after an MRI, please excuse the disheveled appearance.

Thanks Guys. Getting into Shell Cordovan - cheaper than watches, but still! Eyeing some Trickers boots as well as some low profile Alden Black plain toe Bluchers. Trickers may be, well...tricky as I'm not sure of the way they'll fit. They don't sell their wide sizes online though they say their normal widths are "generous." Suppose I'd have to order a few pair from across the pond and return a couple - just to be most efficient. |

Thanks very much!
So some comments co firm what the anonymous customer service rep told me over email...good for wise feet / mo need to size down. I wear a 7.5 UK / G width size in Churches Brogues. I was advised to get 7.5 in standard Trickers. Wider widths are bespoke only. The Stow boots in Cognac look very cool...I also recently saw some Cordovan models in their Instagram feed...hmm |

I also like the country brogues in Acorn...they're about 300 pounds cheaper than the boots as well. |

Actually that's the other option I always considered getting but unfortunately never did. Great Choice!

Well...now I'm thinking about Alden's Black Cordovan plain toe Blucher. A bit more versatile. Trickers NOW suggests I buy a size 8UK boot...I really don't want to deal with shipping boots back / forth across the pond several times. |

That's certainly another great option. The internet and more specifically overseas shopping is certainly more risky but it also can be very rewarding as well. I know I'm very happy I went that route. I know it helped to know my Brannock size, establish my size in a couple of well known Lasts, do loads of research based on others experiences, work with very helpful and knowledgeable retailers, steer clear of Lasts that were more problematic for me and my feet, and to be extremely fortunate to have a fairly average size foot. I'll fitting shoes are simply a waste of money no matter how good they look. I'm extremely glad I chose to go the route I did, unfortunately there are no guarantees the same will work for you.

They have a pepper Lopez in EE that would fit me, but the color is too close to my G&G Monaco's, so I think I'll pass. If they had a pair in plum museum calf in my size I would snap them up.

I'm not a crazy shoe addict. But I enjoy some nice pairs.
I usually stick to Italian brand. Mainly Fratelli Rossetti and florsheim. This is a very comfortable pair of Paciotti.
