Taking some vintage to a 4th round interview (I work in tech - hence the jeans and boots to an interview). If it works out, the 1675 may get a vintage Rolex friend...

I coudnt agree more on your thoughts about this bracelet - have both 7836 & 78360 .. they wear very comfy, they are simple & elegant

And for the glide-lock; I respect and care the new innovations more after i read the last hodinkee write up 'Inside Rolex' .. These comfy technological beauties are ready and waiting to be worn to new adventures, and just for the love of the brand i am thinking to add one modern to my collection

Love your gilt on bracelet by the way

Thanks PEB, and I too am considering a new one! I actually love the new RG YM 40. It would make a change for me, and I think it's quite 'radical' [for Rolex]. I love the matte dial, bezel and oysterflex strap. And the rose gold is gorgeous. Classy, elegant and sporty all at once, IMHO. I'm not decided, though! What might you be considering, my friend?

I liked the new YG and it would compliment your red very well if you plan to keep both As you mention the matte-dial, red print and matte bezel .. and the brand new oyster-flex, i think its gorgeous overall.

As i have been trying on and checking many photos lately, I think i am leaning towards the SDC4000. I always liked the design of 16600 but this time i told myself to give a chance to a full modern one and experience the latest innovations. I like the Dssd d-blue but it is little big for my wrist (44mm). I feel concerned with the fit of SDC-4000 as they wear different eventhough the size is 40mm. Its not good or bad just the feel is different. I guess it is a matter of getting used to, so could be a SDC-4000

Took earlier today, no filter but the angle the sun is hitting it and the color of the strap kind of make the dial look tropical. In reality, it's just matte black/charcoal

PEB, I really love my SD4K... it's a fantastic piece and my favorite of the modern Rolexes. It does fit a little different but like you say it's about getting used to it. I really have difficulty explaining why I like it so much, but somehow it just feels right... hope to see you join the club!

I love the new SD as well, and am considering it too. I just wish they'd do a matte bezel and red text on that also. As I have a nice 16600, it may be a bit redundant. I'll try a few on, but the YM is gorgeous, and different, for my little gathering
