Yes I believe it’s worth it. The standard bracelet is chunky and to me, a little ugly. I far prefer the mesh but make sure you try them on as there a couple of sizes you can get. Important as you can get a large fold if you get one that’s too big.
I have the rubber strap too, love that. Works well at the beach.

I have the 42mm SMP and new 3861 Speedmaster. The SMP wears quite a bit bigger, I think the lug to lug is 2-3MM longer.
