Hey Karis, I'm kinda putting 2 and 2 together here- finally!, and I'm thinking with your knowledge of all things british and Wes referencing SA, you must have come from South Africa ! My book keeper guru comes from "Jo-Berg"...did you grow up there as well?

Ultimate tea travel mug. I have one at work. Mine is red. The lever drops a basket into the water so you can control how long you steep your tea. It holds either loose tea or bags.
Clever gadget and it works very well.

Be forewarned, the lip seals so well you'll need both thumbs to open it. Also I don't believe its ish washer safe, you'll have to check the label.

I see. Kind of like trying to give a kid a Tylenol.

Bill, is it for hot tea only, then?

Is iced tea enjoyed in Canada or the UK?

Well well, look who's back (after an almost complete day outside the Coffeeshop...I felt so lonely! )!

...Are we still talking about coffee?

ice tea and ice coffee is big here !
Our ice tea is usually sweet and lemony; I much prefer the american ice tea, which is thirst quenching and refreshing,
My go-to drink these days is Starbucks iced coffee-unsweetened and with 1/2 &1/2 cream and ice cubes !

well, Michelle got to go shopping this morning, ....

Last evening my boy asks if I can drive him and 5 friends to Canada's Wonderland,:

so, I'm kind of groaning because its an hour away, and the traffic gets crazy,as its just outside of Toronto.....but then I suddenly realize that my favourite store is also in that vicinity... : Lululemon Athletica! (They have an online catalog ladies, )
so, I pretended to be "Supermom" and volunteered to drive that van load of kids to the "Park", and I had lots of fun too !

Michelle, we have a Lululemon near us, in Bethesda. It gained notoriety about a year or so ago when one of the salespersons murdered the store manager and tried to cover it up to look like the crime was committed by 2 men who came in to rob the store. Bottom line, the police saw right through the lie and she was convicted. She was sent "up the river" for a long time (maybe 20 years or more).

I had a couple of presents indeed! A beautiful bonsai tree (Peter is helping me out with this one! ), a light box to take pictures and a bit of money! I've also been to the post office to pick up a little gift I gave myself. I had a wonderful time!

I may post pictures a bit later (if you wish)!

I love iced tea but surprisingly I can't stand iced coffee (love the hot version though...I call it hot iced coffee! ). I guess it's a matter of tastes!

That's a horrendous thing to have happen - was it actually in the store? I sure hope it didn't smear the clothing company's reputation as their "stuff" is excellent- washes and wears really well.
If your prisons are anything like Canadian ones, that little sales rep will still have plenty of space to practice her asanas and pranayamas....

Well Michelle, I bet you're getting the 'Mom of the Year' award from your son and his friends!

We have Lululemon here as well, but I've never been for some reason... I do enjoy shopping at 'Lucy'. Similar store...do you have Lucy there as well?

Yes, it happened in the store, after hours. They remodeled the store and it's still in business. I'm not sure where they sent the sales rep but I doubt she'll have a lot of space.

So you mean I can make my return now? I mean that t-shirt is way too tight, I need a larger one...

Funny how you would say that right now, you just allowed me to brag a bit!

Ladies, gentlemen, I've said it in another thread but please allow me to share with you the fact that I've lost 43 pounds since last Summer. I am really proud of it, I feel much healthier and my jeans went from the size 36 to the size 32!

...Still, Ed, this t-shirt is just darn too tight!

What did you buy? I hope you enjoyed your day!

Well that sure makes me want to go there shopping...
Happy Day After Birthday Carl!
i'd love to see a pic of the bonsai tree- will you bring it with you to 3-rivieres?
At Lulu's- I just bought a couple of yoga crops and tanks.....kinda boring, but I did spend lots of time trying stuff on, so when I can go shopping online, I'll know what I like,(and what fits...)

Not to many guys shop at Lulu's....which is very unfortunate because their guy's line is just as wearable/washable and wonderful as the gal's stuff!
I had bought my hubby a couple of cargo style shorts there, and he LOVED them, until my daughter noticed the teeny little Lulu emblem and said "Dad, you're wearing LULULEMON!! "
So now, he just wears them to work- underneath his coveralls....

I guess I should take a look at what they have then, I'm not a macho man at all (hard to make people believe such a thing with Pandora bracelets, small watches and shirts with flowers on...) but I like to remain somewhat sober when I dress up so I'd have to be careful (it seems like very flashy colors are a bit too in for me nowadays).

Thank you for the wishes as well, here are some quick pictures of the tree (I've started a thread about it as well, it's not one of Peter's but I love it nonetheless).

The light box isn't very interesting to see but I'll upload pictures taken in it to show you the effect it has. I'm not the best photographer but it is much easier to control the lights with such a tool, I think I thanked my girlfriend 14 times!

"Mom of the year" ....well a couple of the others parents were thanking me profusely for doing the drive- I feel a little guilty because they were unaware of my hidden agenda!
I've never seen a Lucy store...I'll google it!

to you Carl!
Getting in shape now is like having a financial retirement savings plan- you will be feeling the benefits when you grow older ! So don't work out to look good- do it to keep your cardio health and muscles moving
Ps your t-shirt is too tight because of your new ripped abs!!!

Thank you Michelle!

However, I must correct you! I didn't work out at all, I've just started to take a look at what I was eating and started to eat, shall we say, like a normal person!
