An absolute no brainer. Do it. It’s been my most worn watch the last 2 years.

Nice MOP dial. A friend recently suggested MOP to me and you may have helped to push me over the fence.

What a beautiful watch! Congrats!

I'm normally not a huge fan of rose gold cases, but this looks fantastic. It's funny -- with FPJ, I seem to gravitate towards rose gold. I ended up getting two (pre-hype) with rose gold elements -- one two-tone and one with a RG case.

Has anyone bought additional straps from Journe? I remember they had different colors at the boutique, but I can't find their straps for mechanical watches on their website. I'm curious what this the price for a croco strap. For my wife's elegante I know that the straps are $500

I ordered a brown strap from Journe via my AD. You can choose the length and colour of the strap. Your AD should be able to advise the price.

Alternatively you can buy from Jean Rousseau.

The straps are not on the website. I have bought some, but it was a while ago. They are also priced in the neighborhood of $500.

I have a couple of straps from A Collected Man as well. Check them out, I highly recommend them.

Just confirmed. CO in Platinum is 129k in US. It's the 2nd major increase in the last 18 months. I can see a % of people receiving call from them not taking the watch.

Even Octa sport is 48k. The price increase is getting a little excessive. I wonder if they will pause price increase as the secondary market soften.

Ouch, that's a lot of money for a time only watch.
I imagine the Platinum is a few thousand more too

FP Journe Appreciation Thread, an Evolution.

Can someone clarify the lug and buckle dimensions for the FPJ straps? Is it the same for all models? Not able to find in many areas of reference. Curious among the classique range pieces currently produced. Are they all 20 at lugs and 19 at buckle or is that only true for some?

Congrats Ryan. One of the most beautiful watches I have seen in recent times. Love the color combo.

All the ones I have are 20 x 19 (Chronometre Bleu, CS, Automatique Lune, TN Tourb)

AFAIK, it is all 20/19. When you are at the boutique, you can see two types of straps only. The leather/croc ones and rubber ones for the Elegante. All the leather ones are for all the dress watches. I have not seen one which is different size. I have acquired quite a few straps and is planning to swap between the different references when and if they arrive.

May I ask if this is suede? Does it come in other colors?
