I work as a full-time mastering engineer (CD post production), 44 years old, been mastering 22 years. Used to work for a record company for 13 years, now I have my studio in the back of the house.

As I type this I'm wearing my white 1680 cause my Sea Dweller is awaiting it's service at Ross Beer's in Sydney...

My first Rolex is a SD but my jobs got nothin to do with diving. A daytona would better suit what I do.

I like this thread

Anyway, just turned 50, running a small but perfectly formed FM consultancy and - whilst things are quiet - also doing some salaried work for one of the global banks (but in the real estate division).

I've owned a SS date and an 18kt Datejust in the past, and currently have a 16610 Sub and a black dial Explorer II (both feel like keepers). I've also got a Seiko Black Monster for the "odd" occasion

IT Engineer.

Glad to say that I'm the new owner of a new Explorer II V-serial with black dial. Like its relatively slim profile, simplicity, and second second time zone feature which I plan to sue when traveling. Another motivation for purchasing it was that it may be supersized next year (don't like the new bulky cases) or altogether discontinued (current thread).

hahaha it depends on what I'm working on

Hip Hop / R n B / Pop I'll sadly admit that there is very little dynamic range..

If it's rock, acoustic, orchestral or anything else then I let the track breath!

My 9-5 job is post production though so that entails voice recording, sound FX and music writing for Television ads / shows, radio ads, movies, video games etc.. I love my job!
