Well it helps to see how big it looks on you, if you want my humble opinion I think the size is just perfect! The watch has a sporty size with a very classy look!

Is it a stainless steel model? White gold bezel perhaps?

Yes, stainless. Not even sure if the bezel is white gold or stainless, too.
I should find out. ha

TRF's own Mosco (Greg) worked really hard to get this one for me. :)

That's very nice! I'm glad to know you got it from one of our best sellers!

Dbelle, that watch is beautiful. I don't know much about the brand except that Jocke has at least one!

How did you decide on the make and model? It looks so nice on your wrist.

Thank you, Lisa! I knew that I loved the 'look' of the Glashutte, the clear caseback, and the finish...I wanted one on a bracelet and diamonds. So from there, I sort of had to go with what was available without a realllllly long wait. There is a moon phase model with diamonds that I really liked, too, but no bracelet model that I could find, anyway. It had to come from the manufacturer thru and AD in Germany to and AD in the US and it was basically the only model available. We were kind of on a time crunch since Glashutte was going to raise prices in the US on August 1st. So......that's kind of how I decided. And I realllllly like it .

Want a cappucino as well Lisa?

Would it make you girls feel better if I told you my friends bought me a big espresso/cappuccino machine for my birthday? I will post pictures tomorrow if you want!

I had to go looking for it. An interesting read for sure.
I was going to post something like 'I don't think men know WHAT women think...' but decided against it as I have to work and wouldn't be around to watch/diffuse the thread.
I've been misunderstood before.
Obviously that thread was started to get a reaction. Maybe the answer is that women don't think very much of any guy who's worried what kind of impression his watch is making with women.
It's all just speculation. I clearly don't understand women

It's 38 mm. So techncally a tiny bit bigger than my datejust, but for some reason it doesn't seem any bigger to me. I think 40 mm would be my perfect size. I like even larger than that, but not to wear all the time.

That's a great size! I can't do over 40mm myself. I'm such a sucker for a white dial!!!! They just make me happy! LOL!

Carramba! Stunner, and so nice and different. Congrats, d! I may have to look into the brand more closely.

Like you all, I try not to flip out on the gender-button pushing, but I guess some counterposting may eventually help? Or am I naive? I don't care. We're at this party, too.

X2 on this. It did make me want to check in on our female peeps to say not all men are knuckle-draggers. And hopefully that thread will soon disappear.

On a positive note - I am one of those guys that notice women's shoes. They are a fun accessory. For me, I have fun with my ties and have received quite a few comments.

YES and coffee. And tea. :-)

I want to see a pic of your new espresso machine! We just got one a few weeks ago. Not very smart.....great coffee is way too readily available for me now, I drink too much of it...but it's so good!

Juar and have a nice day.

We know the majority of you great guys around here don't have road rash on their knuckles.

Sometimes the mentality that shows up in a random thread is still pretty shocking in 2012.
